Bye then, Jacko...
Well, I can honestly say that I've not heard this many Michael Jackson songs in one day in a long time. It's been years since I was really interested in his music, but his place in my life, as well as many others' lives, is undisputed. I'm genuinely sad at both the manner and the time of his going, because it robs him of the chance to go out on a high and remind people of the talent that lay behind what became a rather tragic life. Thanks to rhodri on Twitter for bringing my attention to what is an extraordinary and very amusing tribute to Michael's best ever work (IMO); the Bollywood version of Thriller. Thanks, Michael.

If it weren’t for MJ we wouldn’t have got the deleted scene in Bo Selecta where he shouts ‘Cha’mone!!’ as an obvious dummy wearing the red jacket getup falls from the roof of a house. That made me laugh a great deal (as well as ‘I’m Michael Jackson, and this is Placentay Paintball, muthafucka!’ which isn’t a deleted scene).
Now, if I were a reactionary sheep led blindfolded with a blade at my back by the Zionists of the NWO I would probably also flocking (can one person flock? Convoy…) to buy MJ records. Turns out I’ve already got quite a bit already so…

It is a bit silly that people suddenly decide they like MJ’s music after he dies, but it could be that a lot of younger people are just curious, as he won’t be an iconic figure for them. Hope his kids benefit from the money generated, anyway…

Guilty.
Although in many ways events like this just jog your memory. I’m sure a lot of people probably did what I did and went on a little journey via youtube only to discover loads of cool moments they didn’t previously know about.
Someone told me this that Jackson on agreed to do the 25 years of Motown event on the proviso that Adam Ant was invited to join him. I’ve not been able to find it, but there’s apparently footage out there of Adam Ant and Diana Ross dancing a bit as Jacko performs.
