Runaway Bride - The First Teaser
Only in crappy Windows Media and even crappier RealMedia for the moment - but still, of course, worth a look. How gorgeous is that blue-lit shot of the TARDIS (shame about C'ne F'ng T'te in the foreground, like)?
If you're not keeping tabs on the wonderful advent calendar every day, of course, you're missing shit like this (and a bit of a page from the script, and preview clips from The Sarah Jane Adventures). SHAME ON YOU.
EDIT : Oh, and Torchwood has had its second series confirmed, and is moving to BBC TWO, to boot. Someone must like it, then. I haven't watched it since Cyberwoman.

He probably fancies having an intimate evening with her and a chainsaw, yes.

Actually, having sex with Catherine Tate would have a certain air of wrongness about it, that could well be used to derive some enjoyment from the experience. I might write to her and suggest it.

And then the chainsaw?

Actually, that's a fucking good teaser, right there. The Doctor being all moody int he rain looks cool, and the baddy sounds good and menacing. I've gone from dreading this episode to being quietly optimistic about it.
So long as Catherine Tate doesn't RUIN IT.

Any clue on who The Sarah Jane Adventures are being targeted at?
-Never mind, Google saves the day- Yup, it's the perfect property to get a little Who action on CBBC. I suspect it'll start with a little more polish than Torchwood, much to RTD's embarrassment, mind... Official press release confirms a lack of K9, which is curious given her appearance around Mr Tenant, but I shan't complain.
Wonder how this'll sit alongside M.I.High, though.

I think this was stated somewhere as being due to someone else owning the rights to K9.
Actually, this brings me to raise the question of how many other low-quality Who spinoffs they'll try to spew out, as opposed to focusing their efforts on making low-volume, high-quality entertainment.

Advance word on Sarah Jane seems to be quite good, actually.
Plus, it seems to have more RTD involvement than Torchwood - he's co-writing the pilot, and he's got at least something to do with a few more of the episodes.

I liked the preview scene we got from SJI on the Who site, actually. I think Liz Sladen is going to rock some serious acting bells, which is going to be important. So long as she yells "SHUT THE FUCK UP, CHILDREN, I'M TRYING TO THINK" every now and then.

That's SJA, Capps. Adventures, now, not Investigates.

I'm not the least bit gripped by that trailer. I fully expect the Xmas ep to be good fun for all the family romp but the trailer itself is rather bland.

Isn't it due to be changed again, too, as the title's too long for some EPGs?
I vote for SJS In Da House.

Yes and no. They're calling the pilot The Sarah Jane Adventures (note the "The ", since we're talking about number of letters), and putting off the final series naming decision 'till later. Put bluntly though, "Sarah Jane Adv" works to convey the meaning, so I can't see them doing more than dropping the pedantic "The ".

And? He's done moody before! Only this time he's slightly more wet! The incidental music (or the repeated noise) seemed flat.
